Technical SEO & Site Speed

We measure the technical layer search engines read and how fast your site loads on a phone, then write up each finding with its tool, its date and a priority.

  • Indexing
  • Core Web Vitals
  • Site moves

01overview

Technical SEO looks at the groundwork before the content: whether pages can be indexed, whether canonical and hreflang tags are right, whether structured data can be read, and how long the main content takes to appear on a phone. We report what we measured with the tool and the date, and we make no promises about rankings or traffic.

Key Capabilities
  1. 01Indexing checks: noindex, robots.txt and the sitemap
  2. 02A review of canonical and hreflang tags
  3. 03Adding or correcting structured data
  4. 04Speed on a phone: Google PageSpeed Insights (mobile) and, where it exists, Google's real-user data
  5. 05HTTPS, mixed content and broken link checks
  6. 06URL-by-URL comparison before and after a site move

How we measure

We test your home page under phone conditions with Google PageSpeed Insights and read its code with a checking script we wrote ourselves. Each finding states the tool, the date and its limits, such as home page only, a single run or lab conditions. We never present a guess as a measurement.

Site speed and Core Web Vitals

Google looks at three measures: how long the main content takes to appear (LCP), how quickly the page responds to a tap (INP) and how much content shifts while loading (CLS). A lab test shows where a problem sits; if Google has real-user data for your site, we report it separately, because the two are different things.

We measured this site the same way

We tested the production build of ulviontech.com on a local server with Lighthouse 13.5 across 9 pages: 97 or higher for performance on mobile, 100 for accessibility, best practices and SEO, and 100 in all four categories on desktop. axe found 0 accessibility violations on 22 URLs in light and dark theme. All are lab results from 30 October 2026.

After the findings

Each finding says what we saw, why it matters and what could be done, so your current developer can act on it too. If you want us to make the fixes, we give you a written scope and price once we have seen how the site is built. If the site needs rebuilding, see our Website Development page.

03how we work

How a project runs

Five stages, each ending with something concrete in your hands. You are never asked to approve a stage you can't see.

  1. Step 01

    Discovery call

A 30-45 minute conversation about what you want to change and what slows it down today. Technical detail is welcome but not needed.

    You get

A written summary of the problem as we understood it.

  2. Step 02

    Scope and proposal

We break the work into deliverables, decide what belongs in the first version and what can wait, and put a price on it.

    You get

A scope document, a delivery plan and a fixed price.

  3. Step 03

    Design and architecture

Interface flows and technical architecture are decided together, so what gets designed is something that can actually be built and maintained.

    You get

Clickable screens and a technical plan.

  4. Step 04

    Build

Development runs in two-week cycles. Each one ends with a working version on a test environment you can open yourself.

    You get

A working version every two weeks.

  5. Step 05

    Launch and after

We put it live, hand over the documentation, hold the handover meeting and stay on through the agreed support period.

    You get

A live system, documentation and a support period.

04Where to start

Free site check: we test your home page and send three findings on one page, each with what could be done. The page ends with how we measured and the limits of the test.

That is the whole of the free part; we do not do free design or trial development.

05Questions

Frequently asked questions

  • Will you improve our rankings?

We don't promise rankings. We measure and report the technical problems that make your site harder for search engines to read; rankings also depend on content, competition and time.

  • Do you charge for the site check?

No. One page, three measured findings and what could be done about each. Whether you go further is up to you.

  • Which tools do you use to measure speed?

Google PageSpeed Insights (mobile) and Lighthouse. If Google has real-user data for your site, we report it separately, since it is not the same as a lab test.

  • Do you work on sites you didn't build?

The measurement and the findings work for any site. Whether we can make the fixes on your platform is something we tell you after seeing the site.

  • We're moving our site. What should we check?

Before the move, compare the old and new addresses: status code, title, description, canonical, hreflang and structured data. When we moved this site, we checked 72 URLs that way and found no differences (30 October 2026). To plan the move with us, see our Website Development page.
